Volunteer Call for NAN 2013!

Are you looking for a way to be a part of the action in June? Not interested in showing but want to see the horses and be a part of the show from somewhere other than the visitors' corral?

Then you're just the person we're looking for. The North American Nationals is the biggest model horse show in the United States and it needs an army to run efficiently! Most positions do not require direct hobby involvement and would be perfect for that bored spouse, relative, or friend traveling with you to NAN. Or, if you're only showing one or two of the three days, we can always use a pair of hands on the days you're not showing. No one is turned away and you are not required to commit to a full three days of involvement.

Our volunteers are thanked with a t-shirt, lunch, and a helper plaque.

At present there are a number of positions available. We have a brief form where you can outline your skills and any restrictions you have on lifting or being on your feet. We hope to use that information to fit individuals to the best jobs possible.

For more information or questions, contact Niki Hertzog at NANChair@namhsa.org with the subject line NAN Volunteer. To apply to be a volunteer, we have a handy form this year. It will go to the appropriate person when you hit submit.

You can find this form at: http://www.namhsa.org/nan2013/volunteer_form.htm.

Volunteers will be solicited until we have our small army, but we would really appreciate receiving volunteer forms by April 7, 2013.
