Wordless Wednesday

This week's photos are from from Region 6's Southern Model Horse Convention (SouthCon), held in Covington, GA on October 6, 2012, and hosted by Laura Behning, and are courtesy of Jackie Moore. Looks like they have quite the sense of humor!

In Jackie's words:
So, a funny thing happened at the 25th Annual Southern Model Horse Convention in Covington, GA.

Whatchamacallit decided to take a break between classes to go outside for a bite of grass. Suddenly, he was surrounded by a circle of greedy Kiplings, wondering where they could get some!

Whatchamacallit is an Ann Harris Wellington, CMed and painted by Julie Brooks. Kipling is sculpted by Morgen Kilbourn. The Kiplings in the circle are owned by Karen Holland, Jackie Moore, Cindy Dilks, and Morgen Kilbourn, and were painted by Sommer Prosser, Karen Zorn, Jeannine DeCuir, and Morgen. Photo by Jackie Moore.

Thank you for sharing, Jackie!

  1. We do have fun :-) This was our 25th Annual SouthCon- are there any other NAMHSA shows that have been around as long or longer? Anyone know?

I believe MAR (Mid Atlantic Regionals) has been around for 35 years, and Northwest Congress for 25. Lone Star Live is up there as well, but the showholders changed during that time.

Thanks so much for continuing to host South Con, Laura! :)
